Madeleine Lachevre joined UUSC in September 2021 to help coordinate the organization’s Finance and Administration department. She supports the Vice President and Lead Administration Officer Mack Davidson and works closely with members of the Human Resources and Finance teams to ensure smooth business transactions.

Prior to joining UUSC, Madeleine began her social justice advocacy by fundraising for Planned Parenthood and Doctors Without Borders before working as a legal assistant for several years in both the corporate and small business settings. She interned with Mil Mujeres Legal Services, working to help survivors of domestic and sexual violence apply for temporary visas. Additionally, she interned with the Massachusetts Caucus of Women Legislators, working closely with its Sexual Violence Task Force to enhance its relationship with state and local organizations that support survivors and develop more comprehensive policy solutions.

A born and raised Bostonian, Madeleine holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science with a minor in Women and Gender Studies from Bates College. She is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Gender, Leadership, and Public Policy (MPA-GLPP) from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
