LOCATION: Thailand

The Coordination Team for Emergency Relief (CTER) was founded in 2021. CTER’s goal was to provide aid to refugees who fled Burma to escape retaliation in response to civil disobedience against the military coup. After the junta’s continued attacks, CTER’s cross-border support expanded to Hpruso, Demoso, and other areas. The organization partners with other local groups to distribute food and provide shelter.

With the funding from UUSC, CTER will obtain office space, office equipment, furniture, and other administrative needs. The funding will also supplement food support and transportation costs.

UUSC is honored to help CTER in its efforts to protect refugees and work toward a democratic Burma for all.
