Lis-Marie Alvarado serves as the Senior Partnership Officer for Climate & Disaster Justice. Through a reparations and decolonizing grant-making approach, she provides resources to Indigenous & Black frontline organizations that are developing mechanisms that protect Mother Earth, sacred sites, land, water, air, natural resources, and the health of both people and all living things; prevent climate-forced displacement; and build thriving and sustainable communities. Ivanna D’Alencon joined UUSC in May 2023 as the Campaign Strategist and Coordinator on the Advocacy team. Her responsibilities include supporting the collaborative design of UUSC’s advocacy campaigns and the development of UUSC’s campaign infrastructure to mobilize supporters and influence decision makers effectively and strategically. Michael Kourabas works across UUSC’s programs to maximize the impact of its grassroots partners around the world. In addition to helping oversee UUSC’s grantmaking process, Michael has conducted on-the-ground assessments of UUSC’s work in Croatia, Greece, Haiti, Nepal, and the Philippines. Full Bio →
